Stay away from BMW of Bayside and I would imagine Life Quality too.
I went to Hassel once for squeaky brakes. They weren't able to do anything but at least the SA wasn't rude like they were at Bayside. Don't have enough experience as Hassel but I would assume all service depts. will treat you similarly. Good luck and let me know if and when you find a service center worth visiting.

Darn..bayside and Brooklyn are the two closest dealers to my home and work. Sucks that they aren't recommended by anyone it seems. Bought the car at bayside and the sales experience was mediocre but was hoping the service center would be better. With my first service coming up ill write an update after I've been "serviced" at bayside

Never had any issues with Habberstad BMW in Huntington Long Island
It's an hour drive from Brooklyn but well worth the trip I stay away from life quality bmw service cause they're the worst |

Im going to try Habberstad and JMK, I don't mind traveling. I purchased the car from wide world in spring valley and will go back there for service if necessary, was hoping to find a service advisor who will make sure my needs are addressed. |

I bought my car from Habberstad and when I took re-delivery after my ED, the driver side seatbelt extender was broken (the truck driver probably broke it). They wasted no time ordering one for me and even lent me a loaner.

Damn, that sucks to hear about Bayside. I bought my car in Manhattan but Bayside is the closest dealer to me. I actually bought my oil there for a change i did on my own. Still trying to decide which I should have my regular service done at.

Brought my car to Hassel today for the first time (limp mode again) and at first there was a miscommunication. Apparently the reps who schedule appointments do not work at the same facility. I was told my SA will be Christina at 11:40 and a loaner will be available should I need one. I got there early and though my appointment was documented, the service rep was not who it was supposed to be. After speaking with another rep, he told me there were no loaners available. I wasn't having it; I purposely scheduled the appointment for today because any time before that, there would not have been any loaners (so I was told). Eventually, without much debate, I was able to get into an X1 while they keep the car overnight and for god knows how much longer.
