Parts: Cup holders

Hi,

I ordered a bmw 116d last month and I miss one item in my configuration. Anyone knows if its possible to buy the double cup holder support (as part) included in the storage pack?

Storage pack

Right, these parts on the picture are included in storage pack. You can easy remove it and if you'll do that, there are 2 cup holes.

The support wasn't on the Sport model I had on test drive but is included on my M Sport and I can only assume they are part of the extended storage package that I ordered - and I find they are much more useful than just the normal cup holders. Sorry but I do not know if they can be ordered separately.

They can be ordered separately :-) just ask your dealer!

A very useful feauture this, the 2nd spot in front of the key holder is the perfect size for a typical garage remote control.

I didn't initially realise that it's part of the extended storage package, but it is. Luckily my car (which came from stock) had this specced. The package also includes extra anchor points, a netting compartment, and a large net for strapping luggage down in the boot. Very useful.

I've been looking at this, turns out there are LHD & RHD versions of these - the key holder is on the passenger side for RHD cars. Odd, would have thought the key would want to be on the drivers' side??

For this reason I'm going to order the LHD versions.

For reference, the part numbers for "RHD" are

51169257207
51169257208

"LHD" as in the pics looks better for me.

(Correct me if I'm wrong though)

the part numbers i quoted are for RHD- even though the image suggests otherwise, i got them while looking up a RHD car.

Apologies, confusing this - so do parts 51169257209 & 210 have the key holder on the passenger or drivers' side?

I must admit i have taken mine out... they somewhat get in the way of actually holding a cup otherwise.

The flat one is utterly pointless IMO - there is a flat tray just behind the cup holders anyway, and the key one, well i mean i have loads of keys attached to my set anyway, so its easier just to put them in the cup-holder rather than trying to position it in some dedicated key-holder. That's one of the attractions of not having to put a key in the dash and turn it!
