HR Sport springs for 328 VS 335

Hope this isnt a dumb question but the model numbers are different for the HR sport springs for the 328 coupe and 335 coupe, can I assume the spring rates are different and thus you can not put 328 springs on a 335?

thanks for the help/advice

Are you sure they're different?

If you got to any site that sells HR Sport Springs for the e92 328 and e92 335, the part number is different for each car
[50490-2] for 328
(50490-3) for 335
.

I though it is common sense that the 335 engine weighs more than the 328 engine thus the spring rate has to be different?

I'm going to agree with above and say it's compensating for weight difference from the motor.
