116i RHS Reverse Light
Hi There,
First time BMW owner, first post. RHS wiring loom (at the connector) is not providing voltage to the reverse LED. Not a bulb issue or short, metal rails to the bulb socket are fine. LHS reverse light is working fine. From what I can tell, there is no fuse per bulb? Where is a good place to start in diagnosing the wiring issue? Would it be easier to splice the LHS reverse? (and disconnect the RHS reverse wiring of course) Cheers! |

Many cars only have one reverse bulb even with lenses on both sides.
E.g. my 2014 116i (RHD). Left side is reversing lamp, right side is rear fog lamp. Turn on the rear fogs and see if power arrives at the socket. |
