Anybody know what this sound could be?? F30

So this sound has started happening at my wheel well and it's really annoying me. Starts at about 40 mph and doesn't shake car or anything just a obnoxious sound. Some have told me my rim may be bent.

What do you guys think it could be?

Have you taken the wheel off and done a visual inspection? It COULD be a nail/screw in the tire. Does it correspond to the speed?

In any case, first thing I'd do is take the wheel off, inspect the tire, inspect the brakes, see if there's anything out of the ordinary. Also, sometimes, there can be sort of an aural illusion where a sound might SEEM like it's coming from the front, but could very well be from the rear. I'd check all 4 just to be thorough.

Well it actually sounds a bit like a noise that I had on my r coming from the front end. My car is at the shop right now getting a new left motor mount bracket and the half shaft was hitting a splash shield when I was off the throttle. Definitely take off the wheel and see if you can reproduce the sound by spinning the rotor by hand. Some times the smallest none noise can actually be a big issue.

Yea it's based off my speed. Doesn't start till around 40-50mph so it has to be something extremely minor. I'll take off the wheel and give it the look test.

sounds like a Plastic vibrating at higher speeds. but I don't think it's metal.
what can possibly bend due to air, air duct loose maybe.
Just a thought.

Please update this thread once the root cause once identified.

It's so difficult to diagnose problems "over the digital domain". I'd say removing the wheel and performing visual inspection is good advice.
