Retrofit M Steering Wheel
Just curious, has anyone done a retrofit from the standard steering wheel to the M steering wheel? Is it a difficult process and is the M steering wheel costly? Thanks

It is easy to retrofit the steering wheel yes, however it is expensive. In EU they got about 600-800 USD.
TBH, I find the normal steering wheel more comfortable and elegant. |

Jorix is correct, it is not cheap, please be aware that the airbag units are also different and cannot be transferred. Note also difference one/two stage airbags, European sellers will, if provided, normally supply one stage. If you do a diy swap, make sure your battery is disconnected for at least 30 mins before touching the steering wheel and airbag assembly, if not then as a minimum you will get error codes in you ecu and worst case it will explode.

Thanks for your responses. Looks more expensive than I anticipated. Maybe wait for 2020 model and get M spec.
