engine closing compartment
Good morning, I need help, I do not know if this is the case or not.
the problem is that it seems that the capo is open, there is a lot of separation between the kidneys of the plate. I have noticed that the stops do not rest on the sheet. Can you see yours and tell me if this is the case? |

I have seen them and they are quite necessary since the hood needs quite some force to close properly.

I usually push down directly above the 2 latches about a foot back from the edge of the bonnet/hood, you definitely need to be more positive in closing it on the X1 than on other cars I've owned.
