Interior Kick Panel removal

Trying to install some aftermarket parts and hide all my wiring. Unfortunately, there's no pass through at the firewall from driver's side to passenger side due to the plastic panels. Is there a simple way to remove them? I don't want to pull them like all the others and snap some connectors I don't know about.

Thanks in advance!

Hi
I would also be interested in knowing if anyone has done this. Looking at the Bimmer tech installation video, for fitting a reversing camera in an F48 X1 (available on YouTube) they are removing the glove box assembly which then gave them access * into the firewall and rear of head unit. I am not sure if they did this because they also needed to access back of fuse assembly but they were threading optical cabling from the tailgate, through the trunk side panel etc into the front footwell, then behind footwell outside wall trim, across the back of the glove box assembly and into the head unit. From limited angle of view it looks like the left they central kick panels intact/in situ but ( * there is also unidentified debris visible in the footwell so ) they may have cut into the panel once glovebox was removed. Please let us know when you find out. Thanks
