Want the G30 back!!

Someone went into the back of our car recently. It's in for repair and we have a Volvo S60 courtesy car. Omg I hate it. There's just so much wrong with it. I've never driven a Volvo before and had rather high expectations but from what I can see it's about on a par with Vauxhall on the inside and the build quality seems about on par with a Toyota.

The worst thing is this front screen heating malarkey. Did they never test it at night when it causes starbursts from any light sources!! Seriously lame.

Please fix our car quickly and give it back!!!

I really thought Volvo perceived quality is almost on the same par as BMW. Never driven one before but a friend does praise his Volvo technology to high heaven.

Having just retired my 9 year old Volvo V70 2.5T and moved to a 540i G31, the advance in those 9 years has been considerable.

The S60/V60 is also an old car(soon to be replaced) and competes with a 3 series, not a 5 Series, so comparing the old platform S60 vs a new design 5 Series is not quite a level playing field.

However, having also driven a S60/V60 for me, it was such a disappointing car in so many areas and not a patch on the V70. Easy to see how you hate it.

In 9 years of harsh city driving, the V70 has never missed a beat and quality wise looks as good 9 years on as it did on the first day. No quality issues there.
Just hope the G31 is as trouble free as the Volvo was

Just think how good it'll feel when you do get it back
Driving other cars for whatever reason always makes me appreciate my bimmers and none more so than my G30
Hope it's not too long, last Volvo I had drove me nuts with all it's nanny systems

I hit a deer in Dec and still don't have my car

I have driven a Rogue and Mazda 5 and man I miss my G30!!!!!! Im in the need for SPEED!

I don't like Volvo , as far as I'm concerned its owned by Chinese which seems never brought back on to the table whereas people talk about a lot on Jaguar's Owners which are Indians
