Question Rotors: EBC GD1512 or Zimmerman?

I will be replacing front rotors in the near future and was wondering what everyone thinks about the EBC rotors in comparison to the Zimmermans. I know the Zimmermans seem to get high marks. Are the EBCs any better? Worse?

Just get Zimmermans, cheaper, comes with rust proof coating. They are all made of cast iron, the difference will be minimal when it comes to one piece rotors like these.

They do appear to be cheaper. However, what if the price were the same? I saw a set of the EBCs in the classifieds for $200.

I guess I'm just wondering if it (the EBCs) truly is a better rotor.

An cast iron rotor is an cast iron rotor, there is no difference especially for street driving.

If that's the case, why not go with Meyle:

They're almost half the cost of Zimmermans.

Good point. The only thing you should really pay attention is the rotor thickness and vane counts. Some budget rotors have really thin vanes and rotor surface.

They also vary in hardness and coatings.
Go with Zimmermann imo-oem brakes are very good.
