Finally, Affordable ABS Rear Spoiler!
I've purchased from this guy before for my old Mercedes-Benz, and the quality has always been great with perfect color match. Based on history, I just ordered:

JBSpeed actually is one of the vendors we have on the forum. I contacted him awhile back about these but could not make up my mind on MG or black so never ordered it.

I have conferred with the Photo Allotment Committee and the decision has been made to increase your picture quota by 10% per month. The Committee, after careful research, has determined that would allow for an additional 35 pictures of your car every month.
All kidding aside, I would be very interested in seeing this myself. I actually ordered the OEM part from Sun Motor Cars last night. It may just be the angle of the pic, but the OEM part appears to have more "rake" (for lack of a better description) than either this one or the one someone else posted today. The extra $ for the OEM part is worth it to me because my car is a lease and, in the event I can't remove it without making a mess, I won't get "dinged" at lease end for an OEM part. |

I emailed Brian at JBSpeed and he said the rear spoiler is exactly the same shape as the OEM CF spoiler so I was wrong about that. He's got some really cool products on his sight. I've got a death grip on my wallet!

I'm sure he will. He's got more aftermarket, less expensive parts than anyone else I've seen so far (not all that many, but aftermarket parts for our cars have been slow in coming). Best part is he sells some body color matched parts and will paint others. For example, he quoted me $80 to paint the CF mirror caps body color. He has body color license plate frames too. I had never considered that, but I think I'm interested.

Would this spoiler be about the same size as the MP CF one? I wonder if they would match paint it as well. The stock one isn't bad, very subtle, just not ... sporting enough I think.
Still debating the CF spoiler replacement though.

See post #7 above about size/shape. These only come painted in color. You tell him the color code when you order. Seems a good deal and he has a very good track record. I agree about the M235i spoiler. When I first approached one in the showroom, I wasn't sure it even had a spoiler!

Mine just shipped. Ordered after my Leith BMW performance parts order was cancelled. Was going to paint the M performance spoiler anyways. Also ordered the IND painted mirror covers. Will see how the paint is on both, if no good will just get painted again as I am doing the stock diffuser or an aftermarket as well.

Will take some shots as soon as we get the car. The 235 is due into Port Hueneme on the ship tomorrow so my wife may get her car for Christmas The IND mirror caps are in hand but looks like I was mistaken and the spoiler just shipped. The time has now come to decide to sell her LSB M3 or keep it for me.

The spoiler came in. I do not think I am going to put it on the car. While I do not have a MP spoiler in hand the one I received from JB appears to be much flatter and has a recess area on the back of the spoiler above the license plate. It appears to be the exact spoiler that is being sold on Ebay by many others. I am extremely disappointed. Hope I can sell it someone else. If JB is legit as others have said, I would guess that the JB guy is just taking his suppliers word that the spoiler is the same and has not had a real one in hand to compare.
Appears to be just like this one- http://www.ebay.com/itm/BMW-F22-Pain...9d6e0c&vxp=mtr You can see the recessed area on the back in the second photo. Looks pretty flat to. Last edited by RDKing2; 12-20-2014 at 05:21 PM.. |

Thanks...that will be helpful. I looked at the link and while it may be different, the general shape looks good in the photo, but seeing it in person will make the decision.

Take a pic of it. I would like to see it in person. I did not purchase this spoiler since it did look like all the others that are selling on e-bay cheaper. And just a FYI.....The M4 performance spoiler has a recess in the back i am pretty sure. Wish they made one shaped like the M4 for the 2. I still plan on getting a painted to match spoiler soon
