Is an M140i worth it over an LCI M135i?

Have seen some m135i lci cars that are a fair bit cheaper than an early lci2 m140i. Besides the change in engine, is there much difference?

Whichever one I go with, I will be modifying slightly.

Thanks!

I have an early produced (nov.'16) M140i. Before ordering it, I tried an M235i very well (for two days). The B58 engine is worth the extra cost in every way. The 40i is the right engine, in the right car.

To me, go for the M140i, also because you have more satisfying (in case you want them) engine tuning options. The B58, arrives easily to 460 HP. But, in my case, the car is completely stock, it has 358 hp at the dyno (using 95 octane gasoline!) Is a candy to drive, pure pleasure, especially on a mountain road (I only fitted the M rear locking diff.). Today is the second driver's bmw to buy, below the M2 which is the queen of the BMW "driving pleasure" nowadays.
