Fuelpump fuse where ?
Hi all,
Can someone help me, i'm looking for the fuelpump fuse in my F20 M135i. I removed the fuses 149, 150, 151 and 165 and the car still didnt stop running ? I need to find the fuse that prevent the fuelpump to run so i can disable the car this way with an extra alarm im setting up. Next week i have to leave my car on the not secured hospital parking for about 4 days and i feel much safer if i can install the extra alarm that prevent starting the car without the extra code key. Please help . |

I'm doing a project simular to yourself.
After reading how many cars are been stolen with the keys (or by force) i figured, in the event this happens wouldn't it be nice if the car cut out in say 2 minutes unless a secret trigger was activated before hand (secret switch etc). I've a working trigger circuit just having difficulty finding the correct fuse to link into to kill the car. Mines an F22 m235i though the fuse numbers are the same as you mentioned. When you removed the fuses did you leave them out for a few seconds. The reason being is the car has an electrical fuel pump (low pressure) which feeds the mechanical fuel pump (high pressure). The engine would still run until its consumed all fuel in the mechanical pump at which point it would run dry. Restarting may be delayed as the mechanical pump would have to prime its self. I'd be interested to here peoples opinions on this and any other ideas they may have in disabling the engine. |

"Soft" anti-hijack solutions (customizable just as well?) appear widely available. Last edited by No one; 08-06-2016 at 12:52 PM.. Reason: Added another link. |

I'm looking for the fuel pump fuse on my f30
Can someone help me? on the fuses sheet is the symbol, but does not specify in detail the function of the individual fuses. for example 149,150,151,165 fuses to which they belong? Thank you so much |
