After a quick clone jobby. The ones on the hood were easy due to blown sky. One on the bumper needed a clone and airbrushing the bumper again.
ive always wanted to get into those but im so afraid of my camera falling off. are these things sturdy enough to prevent that? where did you get your stuff?

Thanks fella. Well the company who I bought my Pro Mount from - Fast Films, supply the same gear to Top Gear who are just crazy petrol heads over head and their videographers use nothing else.

So spent 330 for a rig to support my 1500 camera so looking at it, price is big enough for me to trust it. If im paying all that money, be pointless to not have faith.

Remember, the cars are either being pushed or rolled forward.

This was rolling at about 3/4mph with the camera on timer and a slow shutter

This was just pushed from behind while the driver maintained full lock

So as a result, the speeds are not massive so you dont need to worry since you can walk or run beside holding your camera.

These days, taking a good picture is about 40% of the picture. 60% is down to good post processing on photoshop, etc...from experience...

I don't know if I agree with that, I mean you do make a point when we're talking about HDR's and stuff, but good comp and exposure is more important then PP IHMO.

Dude thats a pretty good start in my books. My CC: Crop out the grass in the bottom, and bring up the colours a little bit, your composition and focus is excellent, what was your shutter speed?? Sick subject btw.

A few of my pannings...

One of my favorites. Was using a 70-200 shooting from about 25 meters. Was tough shooting such a reflective subject in the harsh midday light. used a tripod and took 3 shots exposing the over, under, and properly lighted parts of the car. Then blended them in PS. Of course prior to that i had to move around the car on an arch to find the spot that hardly any glare from the sun showed up.

Everything looks great with the exception that the car is on grass. Cars don't belong on grass.

Yeah yeah.... there are so few paved locations that don't have some type of crap in the background or my personal most detestable photo distraction..... parking lot line(s).

it's on the grass, but there is nothing in that image that distracts from the subject.
