Mine's going in on Monday for rattling front doors, also the mirrors sometimes creak when they fold out.

Other than this, the boot release button on the remote unlocks all the doors and folds out the mirrors (in other words it does exactly the same as the unlock button). does anybody else's do this?

I have posted reagrding this some time ago. My pads squek alot! They do it every few thousand kms (I am at 31k now) and then stop and start again. My friendly dealer did clean them but warned me that is a known issue and they are waiting from BMW news if they will change the pads. He told me that most of the F20's (at least in Greece) have this issue and even in his own F20 he changed twice pads and still the same.

Recently noticed that my car's right flashing indicator is not always working. It happened for example last night when I washed the car. Today was back to normal again. Not sure what the problem is.

What was the problem? Was it rust?

I have a similar issue with mine.
With most direction changes, my seat makes a little noise.
It's not loud or a lot of sound, but enough to annoy me.

My M-Sport brakes that I had on delivery as well as my M-Performance brakes installed afterwards both squeek.

yes it is a sort of clicking sound when you change direction, even slightly.
maybe greasing up the connection of the backrest of the seat will solve this?
i'll look it up the next few days to see if it makes a difference.

Hi,
I saw the mods you have got in your f20, is there any noticeable performance difference with the K&N filter comparing to the stock one??

After about 21000 km, I got the first problem with F20 116i M-Sport.
It happened during track driving yesterday. The problem was that the rubber pad on the clutch pedal fell off. Took me a couple of minutes to put it back on. Otherwise no issues so far.

That only happens when cornering very hard to the left. In the other pictures, it is closed. Maybe it would be possible to open it all the way up with R-compound tires?

I would think it reasonable to try and find out

I was at a track this weekend as well, and got a funny message a couple of times. The car said "High braking load. Drive moderately."

I think it was due to some light brake fading and a slightly soft brake pedal. I pushed the pedal too far down, and activated a warning. It went away by itself after a cooling lap. My brake pads will have to be replaced soon. The car claims I have only 600 km left on the rear ones.

They have seen quite a few track days now. I have never had a set of brake pads survive this long before.

I have this same issue with my passenger seat, took it to the dealer as id had enough of it, they checked it out and came to the conclusion that it needs a new seat base frame. Currently waiting as its on order from Germany at the moment
