F40 Thread please!!

Why is there no F40 section yet? The new 1 series is due around the same time as (if not before) the G20 3er and that has it's own section with excellent renders and loads of info!!

No that would just be the misguided RWD purists!! And as we all know 80% of 1er drivers don't even know which wheels are driven!!

I currently own a 340i but with the G20 set to be noticeably larger I need something slightly smaller. I have owned some great driving FWD cars (Focus, Mondeo, Scirocco, Golf) and whilst a RWD chassis drives differently it doesn't necessarily drive 'better'. I'm sure the new 1er will be a better car (than the outgoing one) in almost every respect even without a RWD chassis and as 90% of my driving is done crawling along behind other cars frankly I don't mind FWD.

But the people who hang out in enthusiast forums on the internet are mostly from the misguided RWD purist group, including me! :-)
