What change in sport mode?

Hello,

I am wondering what exactly change when I press sport mode?
Is it only that the pedal is more reactive?
Or does it change suspensions and some other things?

Hi,
I am not an expert, but I feel that the steering is also different. In Sport mode it is more 'lazy'.
Stupid word, but I cannot describe it better .

Hello.

See the manual, page 100.

Also, there were some discussions here:

Hi,
The manual doesn't describe much, but those forum topics are nice ones! Thanks for the share!
I promise, I will use Search before posting

Thank you for all these links!

I tried to search a bit, but I'm not used to this search engine for now. Too much results.
What did you search to find this?

So I will search now if I have adaptive steering and adaptive suspensions.
Is the VIN important? Or can I paste it anywhere without problem?
(I want to try some CIN Decoder websites)

I thought I should've left the search word referenced. This site's search engine is faulty in not accepting search/key word literal combinations, at least I couldn't figure how to do it. (Some "How to"s can be found here, by the way.) You can use Google instead. I found those threads searching for "DSC" (no quotes) as a related word less common than "Sport". Also, I knew they were there as I had seen them before. Sometimes I just remember what I or others posted or some remarkable members who participated (advanced search by user name).

Here's a thread on VIN decoding facilities: https://f20.1addicts.com/forums/show....php?t=1303748. The last one I used is the latest mentioned there (https://bimmer.work/) and it works right now (just additional views of the car there don't).

I don't think posting VIN is a security/privacy issue as it leads to the car's technical specification only. Mine doesn't have it in the "public view" window "under" the windshield. Unless it's related/linked to your privacy details elsewhere. Sometimes only last characters are requested, providing limited info access, probably.

Well, the mileage/history data bimmer.work attempts to link to must be coming from an owner data source (service, etc.). That's what I mean.

Pedal curve (more steep and more linear) and harder steer.
If you have adaptive suspensions, it also hardens the shock absorber.
