I had the same problem with windows on driver and passenger doors.
Cleaned and lubed all the door seals...no change. Then i also noticed that it would go away when the windows were a bit opened. So i gave the windown seals some silicone spray ( especially between the seals at the top of the window) Noise is completely gone now. Easy fix once you locate it |

I have read on another forum and some say that it might be the felt at the top of the door.....might it also be the case here? If yes there will be a gummi pflege orgy on that damn felt seal! Last edited by emil111; 08-22-2017 at 07:05 PM.. |

maybe i didnt apply it correctly i use a gummi pflege that has a stick thing that gets the liquid onto the seals.....it is not a pulverizer

No idea what you mean: when exactly does it creak? No framed windows either. So a thought: is it the glass on the seals or the motor (struggling to complete) in fact? In the latter case a review of the manual, in particular page 39, "Closing without the anti-trap mechanism" could be helpful. That is, if it creaks when closed, make sure it's closed completely.

the window creaks if i have it fully closed while driving on bad roads or when turning in an angle at slow speeds,if i move down the window by 1 mm the sound goes away. After lubing all the seals that touch the window the noise went away and then it came back bit by bit.I have made a video with the sound today....if there is a way to post it here i shall...i think the noise is clear enough

by "Closing without the anti-trap mechanism" do you mean closing while continuously holding the finger on the window button? I do not do that but i do always give it an extra click after it has automatically fully closed itself...may that be the problem?

The car is quite smart regarding windows in particular: my experience with frozen (frameless) windows in winter is amazing. It does appear to try to lower the glass on its own(!) while the door is open and is being warmed to defrost (I hardly believe it, but I did seem to notice ). |

This does not eliminate the motor issue completely... When you have the window lowered it's not fixed as well as when fully closed (thus more prone to make a friction sound shaking) but no sound you say - this might mean the car fails to detect if the window is fully closed when it should be (you say you use automatic closing) and tries to adjust, unlike when you have just stopped it somewhere in between - try to avoid using the automatic closing and hold the switch instead. Listen carefully to detect where the noise comes from: the frame or the door below.
