No price yet on these, so despite the EAN number I don't think Eibach are actually selling them.
EDIT: I had Birds put on a set of their own 'B1' anti-sway bars instead. Much flatter ride, exactly what I wanted : )

Anybody installed the JB4 on their M135i here? I've seen a couple on the babybmw forum. I emailed Burger Motorsport about it and they confirmed that their stage 2 tune works with the M135i.

I've ordered mine from Burger two weeks ago and it's sitting here now, however my car is still fairly new (650km's) so I'm contemplating when I should install it..

I've clocked up around 950km on mine, had been planning on finishing the run in period at 1000km but with a lot of people following the manual (2000km?!) I'm not so sure now haha |

Hello Guys, First post woop, hoping to get a BMW in the next year or two haha only 19 .
Anyway all these are quoting 360 bhp+ for tuning but the auto gearbox has been rated to 450nm in the m135i which is what it makes standard, anyone with an auto suffered any problems with the extra torque? i know the ecu monitors the temp of the gearbox and reduces torque if it begins to overheat, but i thought this was a bit of a weird one for bmw to put a gearbox thats on its limits as standard. I have to say, now I'm getting used to my M135i, I am surprised by how soft it is, even in Sport Plus mode. I'd imagine on track it would have quite a lot of roll. |

It's not to bad on track with roll, but you tend to get more weight transfer on the brakes and acceleration with the suspension.

Ride is much better with the B1 anti-roll bars. Roll has virtually gone but balance has shifted forward so the car is more neutral. I've since put winter tyres on and the ride is firmer still.

What do you mean by balance shifting forward? In what way was it balanced before?

It was definitely more tail happy before and would dive a bit into corners. Now it rarely does either unless I push it.

Interesting. I have seen some F20 owners complain about the cars understeering, and I have always assumed it was related to wider tyres in the back. Our 116i with a square tyre setup is very balanced. Difficult to make it oversteer or understeer. It tends to start slipping with all four wheels when I push it over the limit.

Cars with a natural tendency to oversteer, are very difficult to drive for most people. I doubt that BMW would send it to the market like that. All RWD cars can of course be provoked into oversteer, but the basic balance should be neutral or slightly towards understeer.
The way to test the balance of a car, is to drive slowly in a circle, and notice the steering wheel angle. Increase the speed very slowly, sticking to the same circle. Usually you have to add slightly more steering angle as the car starts approaching the limit. That means the car understeers. If the steering angle gets gradually less towards the limit, it oversteers. Stop the test when the car starts sliding. |

The standard handling expression of the M135i is to understeer, ie, run wide in a corner. You have to provoke oversteer, but it's not that hard to provoke especially using the throttle out of a corner.

Hi guys
Can someone tell me if there is an exhaust option in oz that is warranty friendly. I don't know about anyone else but would like a bit more noise 2-3000 rev range. Higher up is great but by then you are well over the limit! I assume there would be a problem with imported m performance exhausts as they don't comply with ADR rules Cheers |

Hi guys,
I've got a m135iA and was wondering if an engine upgrade (chip) would negatively affect the smoothness that the car now has? Furthermore I want to install a LSD: who has got one already and what's your feedback? Thanks |

Hy Guys,
i'd like mount BILSTEIN B14 PSS Suspension Kit on my BMW 135i M, but i've got two question: - how can I disconect EDC? - on the Blistein website they say: "for vehicles with electronic suspension control, only with 1x 3130679221", also what is the product 3130679221? Thanks in advance for the answer |
