I want to compile the tuning options for the M135i here.
If you have knowledge of any tuning options for the M135i which are not yet listed, PM me or just post here (with link!) and I will update the first post. Last edited by hwelvaar; 05-06-2013 at 08:41 AM.. |

I guess so far all tuning options are additional box modules. I tried the one from ppe that promised 70 hp but only got 40 and on top it was less. Torque nrs were ok.
So decided to wait for the real tune. |

Racechip.de
Promising 383 bhp for 599 Euros, but there are 3 levels to choose from.
http://www.racechip.de/en/chiptuning...-235/index.php Is the general consensus that these add on boxes are not as good as a programmed tune? I really like the idea of being able to add and then remove before servicing etc. |

It seems that currently only add on boxes are available, but after seeing dyno results from a board member who got the Hartge tune, I don't believe any of the promised numbers anymore, especially above 360 HP. I think Sportec is honest. They get you to 355 HP with stage 1 tune. If you want more, you'll need stage 2 exhaust/intake/intercooler/... tuning. This 355 HP was also the dyno result of the Hartge tune. |

After taking the Hartge mod my little M Hatch is pushing out at least 361 bhp with a peak of 400ft lb of torque for a much broader rev range. Since it had 340 bhp stock to begin with the biggest change has been the torque curve with up to 40 more bhp on tap in lower revs than the standard tune. Will have another rolling road session later this week at a different place after I have the M exhaust fitted for a second opinion.

It seems Sportec is (soon?) releasing a dual exhaust with electric flap for the M135i !
With downpipes, it would add 8 HP. http://translate.google.com/translat...i.html&act=url http://www.sportec-tuning.de/bmw/1er...anlagen-135im/ Added to list. I'm still waiting for someone to release a quad exhaust ! |

Added the M Xorst and the latest dyno says my M Hatch is churning out 375 at the flywheel now : )
Different dyno place but I have confidence in the figures as 361 felt a little short.

Looks like a quad exhaust is almost ready! And another exhaust system to add the the list. Very interested in the price of their sports cat downpipe |

I've had an email from burger tuning that their F30 335i stage 2 JB4 tune will work fine with the F20 M135i. The dyno results look decent especially with their catless downpipe:

"JB4 support for the F10 & F30 is limited and does not yet include in dash features." When the M235i is released in the States, I hope more tunes (from US tuners) will be released and also usable for the M135i (same engine). |

Just purchased a M135i, amazing all round ability.
But i need to change the exhaust. Already put my name down on the Miltek site, but i do not think thats a guaranteed definite, if the demand is low. Any one else waiting? Simon |
