The 11th marks 10 years. Nuff said.
I was watching a review on the SV and saw it was running bare carbon door panels with a red strap as the handle, kind of matches what this car is running, with a yellow strap for the handle. So the door panels dont look like they are actually removed, just look like the production door panels.. yet you claim they were actually removed.. hmm..

Seems like your coworkers lied to you about that front lip.. lol

Car does look good tho.. 30 more hp, 40 kilos less weight and nearly 40 seconds off the standard laptime lol.

The conspiracy theorists' "charts", compiled via side by side YouTube videos, then plucking selective points of reference, and guessing when those points were passed, is not evidence. It's speculation. The Gantry to Bridge plot below is a great example of why cherry-picking "evidence" to fit a theory doesn't work.

Racelogic did an analysis of the Huracan Performante, 918, and Aventador SV videos separately. Only the Aventador showed a persistent issue; an over-optimistic speed reading. No evidence of manipulation to the Huracan video was found. A comparison of the Huracan/918 Gantry to Bridge section below shows why cherry-picking "evidence" to fit a story always fails. Crap in, crap out.

Where did I say the door panels were removed? Your assumption someone lied is based upon what?

Here's the extension visible for your own eyes.

The 7.28 was a magazine time done prior to the re-profiling and with Press Group speed restrictions still in place.

^ I said they were and you said its to offset the roll cage.

So the door panels were production?

And its not guessing when a reference point was passed. You shouldnt even be able to "cherry pick" something like that.. at no point in the video should the Huracan be going slower but covering more distance.

You said:

"so the fact that the door panels arent production, car is running a roll cage, driver seat isnt production, passenger seat is removed"

My response was in agreement the door panels were not production (they're Super Trofeo/GT3 panels), but explained they are part of the modifications to offset the increased weight from the roll cage (not to mention allowing the doors to close). The removal of the passenger seat was the second and only additional change to compensate. None of these are unusual and small compared to what other manufacturers change (the 918 had significantly more changes in comparison).

It absolutely is guessing. Misha and Dale (along with the others who used the same selective approach) were off with the distances.

Sticking with the Gantry to Bridge sector as that has not changed, is relatively stable, and the Camera location on the Huracan allows a much more accurate visual reference using the gantry pavement marking against the 918 V-Box position data. Misha chose the TF exit sign that is 1000m from the Gantry marker as his second reference point, claiming the 918 covered that distance in 12.1 sec, while the Huracan managed to do it in 11.43. Neither is correct.

Dale performed his calculations against the Aventador SV using a Gantry to Bridge distance of 1760m. The correct distance is 1728m and the Aventador speed displayed just over 5% high. Not surprisingly those two errors account for the accused discrepancy. This discrepancy also occurred between KM11 and KM12. The distance is 972m which again shows the Huracan time correct and the Aventador speed reading optimistic as it would have covered 1032m.

Is there something "fishy" about the Huracan video? My opinion is yes for 3 reasons. First, the unusual camera location for the main display. Second, either that was the smoothest super-fast lap in history or there is some significant image stabilization applied. Third, the occasional Speed Data implausible signals displayed from using the Lamborghini Accessory Telemetry Kit rather than a V-Box.o

He didnt just use that 1 section. Ya, he talks about that one in the video but he went through both videos and recorded the highest speed in ALL the straights, and the lowest speed in ALL the corners.

The 918 was usually hitting a higher speed (by a very big margin sometimes) and it was usually carrying more speed through the corners.

There was straights that the Huracan was going faster but it usually wasnt by to much.

The green is where the 918 was faster, the red is where the 918 was slower (and by how much) and the rest they were even.

and this is the 7 minute lap.
