Confused .. Will they make the M2 now that the M135 is official?

Like the title says, I am confused as to whether or not the M135 is the replacement of the 1M or whether we will end up with both the M135 and the M2

Sorry if I missed this, I searched and read every article and thread on the subject and could not find an answer

Thanks
Ramos

We will have an M235i for sure. No confirmation on an M2.

Well, I would hate to buy a M235 only for the M2 to come out a few months later

Also, since we now know that the M135 / M235 will have the N55 with 320 HP, it is still plausible that the M2 (if they build it) will have a 4 Cyl?

M135i/M235i are about 30% bespoke, M2 if it comes, would be say 70% bespoke - would likely have LSD, custom body work, hopefully some CFRP bits, more customised interior, hopefully DCT as an option, etc...

Wow, some people have the comprehension of 2nd graders on here

I did not say that the M135/235 was a 4 cyl...
I said knowing that the M1135/235 will have the N55 6 cylc, is it still plausible that the top of the line M2 will have a 4 cyl?

I guess as far as whether there is still an M2 in the cards or not; nobody really knows anything yet
