Could anyone please advise me. Will I have to code in a replacement display unit (CID)? A black dot appeared on my media display unit and I found a replacement on eBay with the same part number. Unit taken form 116D M Sport 2016 and to be replaced in my 118I 2015.

Will a simple swap work? If not, how would I go about getting it coded? I have pictures included in the post. Any tips appreciated.
