Hello guys,

Quick question. Do you what power output would I gain after using BM3 Stage 1 93 octane tune for an F20 lci 125i (224hp)? I couldn't find any info about the b48 25i tune on the internet, only about 20i and 30i.

After checking their website, for 20i the power is up by 46% hp. For 30i is up to 16% hp. Those are reasonable values but on the same logic the 25i is still 20i engine and after stage 1 the hp will be over 330hp which is a bit too much.

Has anyone tried it?

Been using it on my N13 F20 with success since march, great "base" tune.

Thanks, Raph! I've managed to figure it out after talking to bimmertech. On the x25i (B48 engine), BM3 tune acts like on the x20i engine. So the gains are around 46% (aprox 320 hp). For me and for my engine (100k miles), it's a bit too much stress.

I could get a custom tune on BM3, but the cost for BM3 license and for the tune will be around 900 dollars. I talked to a local tuner from my area with very good reviews and experience, and he can make a custom tune for ~265 hp output, price with dyno 500 usd. Exactly what I was hoping for giving the fact that the engine is the same as x30i with 258 hp.
