Looking for the best commercial ceramic sealant, by those who actually have applied on their vehicle and what to expect in terms of durability and longevity

Lots of good ones that are Ez for the dyi guy. Longevity depends on several factors. Your avg climate per year, is your car garaged or not? I believe for the avg person that if advertised a 3yr coating your looking at 1/2 that for a daily driver. As anything the better you treat the coating the longer it will last.
What I’ve found out, like a great paint job the better the preparation the better the result of product. What I’m saying is a 2016 model will need a complete paint correction prior to any coating. Deep washing, clay bar, proper polishing removing micro scratches hours of work before a ceramic coating. If you have those tools to do it your ahead of the game. The avg guy doesn’t. Trust me you don’t want to coat your car and lock In scratches and less than perfect paint.
I recommend looking at Brian’s sight on YouTube. Apex detailing. He does his own ride Range Rover Disco and shows what he uses and why.

Wonder product but I'm going by what another well known poster said that over the long term it may be to the detriment of the paintwork, I stick with twice a year normal liquid wax polish.

There is a middle ground. Many of the ceramic sealants are now in a liquid spray that gives you ceramic protection, but does not last as long. It’s as simple as wiping Windex on your car. I do mine every three months and get great protection and gloss. Two of the best are Meguires Hydro ceramic spray wax, and Car Pro elixir.

Does anyone have any experience with AvalonKing Armor Shield?

I took the plunge and got some, haven't tried it yet as I'm waiting for warmer weather. Plan to paint correct the car myself before coating so any thoughts or opinions good or bad would be interesting

I've solely been using Sonax CC36 and I'm very happy with it. Gloss is amazing and durability stays strong in between applications every 6 months.

Griots 3 in 1 ceramic spray for the win.

YouTube channel Scott HD does no shit side by side endurance tests. Brian at Apex is a great detailer, but Scott's channel gives the long term report. Griots always performs exceptionally well for a cheap spray.

If you're going pro, IGL products are exceptional, particularly IGL Premier and IGL Kenzo.
