N13 Zf8 transmission heat exchange? coolant?

hi,

was told the transmission on my 2012 118i F20's transmission which is the zf8 has a heat exchange tube or something that could leak coolant into the transmission by fellow car owner. is this true? because only he said it and nobody else

Have you found coolant in the transmission?

Have you looked for coolant pipes attached to the transmission?

I would have thought that there would be a transmission fluid cooler of some sort.
