The article states that they are only shutting down their OE manufacturing so no more BBS wheels on cars out of the factory. Hopefully this doesnt effect their aftermarket wheel sales.

I hope all works out well for BBS in the long run. They make the best aftermarket wheels IMO.

I love the CH-R, LM, LM-R.

My problem was that it was always very expensive.

Sometimes it's better to stay small. Manufacturers shop around and are sending bid offers...you cut the margin you're tied in a contract...price of the metal goes up well too bad for you cause you signed a contract. While with aftermarket you have more control on your pricing grid.

BBS isn't going out of business, but rather like many companies in today's economy, they are using this as an opportunity to restructure their business in order to get back to the basics (i.e. still manufacturing/selling high-end after market wheels), while at the same time getting out of the OEM mass produced wheel segment.
my sentiments exactly..fucking kids LOL

BBS FTW!! They really do make the best wheels. Maybe if they tried lowering there RIDICULOUS prices more people would buy them. I could see how VMR or Avant do so well. I spent 950$ for all 4 wheels from Avant.

BBS = Mass production = Big Production Facility , more people to pay ...

VMR = Small production = Small/er Production Facility , less people to pay ...

BBS's are the best.

This prevent creditors from repossessing or charging insane fees for unpaid liabilities.

In plain terms, BBS will go through a reorganization of some of its debts and will cut out some of its nonmoney making entities or lines. Same thing happened to GM remember? and you can still buy a new Corvette but now you can't buy a new Hummer. Get it?
