Several things wrong with that story. First, it won't be a coupe version of the X7. X8 will be stand-alone, built from the ground up. If released this year (not likely) it would be MY2022. Current news says 2022 release as MY2023 at the earliest

Looks like any nondescript Asian vehicle on the road today with an X7 grille super glued to the front. BMW is getting murdered by Audi and MB in the styling department.

I don’t really like this car, the past models of the BMW X series were better, but this is my personal opinion. In general, I am a great connoisseur of the German car industry, but for such a lot of money I would rather buy a porsche car than this BMW. Its design is a bit like the Audi Q7, only this BMW has it much worse.
