Hey guys, not sure this is the right forum but I’ll give it a shot.

I have an automatic f20 from 2018. Since a few months my car make a weird noise after driving for a while in traffic. It sounds like something is moving/hitting somewhere in the engine bay or in the wheels. At low speed I hear a tactactactac. I suspect it’s from the brakes but I took it to the garage and they say they don’t see anything in the brake. So I am scared it might be coming from the gearbox.

Has anyone ever had that issue or knows what it could be ?

I do too. I've no idea what it can be. I have a manual gearbox. I'm very confident it's not it. Rather a wheel? I have a feeling it's more "pronounced" after the car was parked for a longer while and "dilutes"/disappears for a while of driving. I guess I've had it for a very long time, it comes and goes.

Sounds pretty much like what I have indeed.
For me it appears a little while after driving and goes away if I drive a long time on the highway for example. But if I stay in the city and there is a lot of traffic the sound will continue.
