Thanks for posting

Similar to most other OEM 18" 1 Series rims so it seems.

Thanks for letting us know!
They are similar to the other OEM BMW Wheels...towards the light side.

Quite lighter are the Alpina Classic ones: 9.4kgs for the 8x18 and 10.1 kgs for the 9x18.

If we've seen the weight of OEM wheels, it would be interesting to see the best aftermarket offer related to price/ weight and overall performance.
I don't know how many of you heard about these:

Curious to see your comments/ proposals

Those wheels according to the fitment guide don't come in BMW fitment of 5x120.

IIRC most HRE and Vorsteiner wheels at 19" weighted around 10kg, not sure about ADV.1

I have ordered a set of 19" Prodrive GC-012L, weighted at about 9.5kg... still waiting for delivery

Here are the weights of the AC Schnitzer Forged Wheels

Type VIII Forged
8.5J x 19" - weight: 8.3 kg (it is the lightest TUV approved wheel for BMWs)
9.5J x 19" - weight: 9.5 kg
(savings of around 4.2 kg compared to BMW Wheels).

Type V Forged
9.0J x 20" - weight: 10.9 kg (vs. BMW V-Spoke 356 in 8.5J x 20" = 15.8 kg)
10.0J x 20" - weight:11.6 kg (vs. BMW V-Spoke 356 in 9.0J x 20" = 15.8 kg)
9.5J x 22" - weight:14.2 kg
10.0J x 22" - weight: 14.8 kg (vs. BMW M Double Spoke 310 in 10Jx 21" = 19.2 kg)
11.5J x 22" - weight:15.3 kg (vs. BMW M Double Spoke 310 in 11.5Jx 21" = 20.3 kg)

Just for reference, my noname aftermarket 6x16" winter wheels are also 10 kg each!

If you want lightweight performance, it is better to go for a slightly smaller wheel than the ones your are discussion in this thread. 7.5x17 would probably work well on the one series. Some people think that smaller wheels have taller tyres which would compensate for the saved weight, but those kinds of tyres are actually lighter than the ones that fit the huge rims.

And stay away from runflats. They are really heavy.
