Picked up my M135i yesterday
I got oyster interior, really glad that I did personally as I'm a big fan of light interiors and I'm so happy with how it looks. I'm obviously aware that it's going to be more work in terms of upkeep but happy to pay that trade off (plus no kids yet so get it while I can!). I'm looking at having my windows tinted by tint-a-car with Formula 1 tint. Wondering if anybody had any recommendations for car detailers in Perth? I've never used any paint or interior protection in previous cars but then they weren't leather or as expensive as the M135i haha. Am considering having some protection applied, particularly given the oyster coloured leather interior. I've read about Freedom Car Care and Demon Detailing - any one have experience with these or others? Demon Detailing offer nanolex treatment for paint and interior at reasonable prices. Cheers |

I'm having my paint protection done by Des at AutoFX in 2 weeks time, he did the paint correction on my E46 M3 (that came up perfect) so I certainly trust him to do a new car!
As to the interior, I just did mine myself last night, soaked everything leather in Leatherique oil, seats, headrests, door trim sections, steering wheel and shifter knob. Smells purty and looks a treat today. Mine is black leather, but as yours is oyster maybe have a chat to Des first as it may darken it more than you like. http://www.autofxwa.com/ Oh and congrats on the M135i, bloody nice car! Where's the pics...? Here's my M3 that Des did...

Thanks a lot for the recommendation kook! Great to have people who have had first hand experience rather than what you read online. I contacted Des and he really knows his stuff and has been very helpful, I'm probably going to book mine in for an initial detail/inspection and application of Swissvax Endurance
Between work and driving the new car, haven't had a lot of time to get on the forums haha. I'll try to post some pics up in the coming days. |

What colour is your paint by the way? I'm yet to see any M135i's in Perth at all, in fact make that F20's in general, I may have spotted 2 or 3 in total!

Mine is estoril blue.
Yeah I haven't seen many at all either! I think I've seen one M135i but that was months ago before I had ordered mine. Think there are a few guys from Perth here with F20s now, may have to arrange a meet sometime |

Picked up my M135i Alpine White 2 weeks ago from Motorline BMW (Brisbane)! Getting a guy to do full leather / paint protection for $600 this weekend. Looking to get a tint, something below 35% preferably if anyone knows someone in Brisbane - for a good price too!
