Why does the peak value stays for 3 seconds....
I know this is a trivial question.
Let's say you switch to the power/torque meter, and you're traveling at some speed. You lift off almost completely when there is downhill section, but why does the peak value stay there for like 3 seconds? It happens in some racing games too, but I don't know why? Thanks. --------------------------------------------------------------------------- I'll share some of my modding findings in another thread I guess. Enough people here agonize over it so I have been calling Europe and the States. ***this will never happen*** but I think it's nice for BMW to give us a free upgrade on their iDrive screen the boost pressure in addition to power and torque, just more thing to distract people |

Its a well known practice
A well known practice with peak meters is to freeze the peak value for some time, which gives you the chance to read the value at a glance. If the needle was always dancing around they'd be very difficult to read
