Well, I just had a hydrobearing (#7) replaced along with the regular service lately. There had been no sound/symptom but they dug it so meticulously looking to suck extra money it was painful to watch. They (an official BMW service) told me it wasn't necessary to replace the other one (apparently upcoming) as well and do the wheel angles correction.

Hi
exact same sound on my M135i coming from the bottom right over bumpy roads, like styrofoam rub. I changed the engine mounts and retighten the subframe, and it went away for a while ! for 1 month absolutely quiet ! May be caused by engine rocking. Have that checked. I eliminated suspension because it could happen stationary on the brakes but with slight throttle. My mechanic pried the engine while on a hoist with a bar and it creaked abit. Good luck and pls report back ! Lately its coming back again .. SIGH!

Did you check the foam added to each door (right where the side mirrors are attached) maybe? I had a similar squeak noise coming (albeit when closing/opening the door) in that area. Might be worth taking a look there.

Hi everyone,
My problem is still not resolved. I went to many BMW Services but they could not find the source of the problem. The sound stops in rainy weather and when I just wash my vehicle. It comes back in dry weather. What could be something that cuts off when it gets wet? |

You're welcome !
You should ONLY put it (WD40) on the attachment or anchor points of the drawing. This will make it possible to eliminate some causes (temporarily) To do this correctly, you will need to lie down, passing under the front passenger door to access it. See you soon |
