I have a problem. Recently, in my BMW F20 with the N13 engine code, when I press the brake, the RPM gauge fluctuates between 1000 and 3000 just before coming to a stop. Then, right before the car fully stops, the instant fuel consumption jumps to 15-20 liters. Additionally, gear shifts have become slightly more noticeable, and fuel consumption has increased. What could be the problem? Does anyone have any knowledge about this? thanks.

From your description it's quite apparently engine braking, like you were trying to stop without disengaging a gear, declutching. Engine struggles not to be stopped as your automatic gearbox fails to shift down smoothly. Simply put, something seems wrong with the gearbox.

Thank you. I think so too. When I examine the transmission values, there is no problem. The transmission oil was changed 1 year ago. I think I should have it checked again. There is no fault record.
