2013 M135i 101F01 HELP!
Hi,
A while back the MIL light came on on my 2013 M135i. The car went to BMW and they diagnosed the problem to be the charge pipe between the outlet side of the intercooler to the throttle body. They changed the pipe and the pressure sensor in the pipe and reset the light. After a few drives the light came back and the car went back to BMW. They couldn't find any other issues and the car came back to me. The car went to a local specialist and they did a smoke test to the inlet and found no faults. In the meantime other faults than 101F01 showed up and all pointed in the direction of the air mass meter. That was changed (original part) and made no difference. The vacuum on the valve cover seems a bit high and the cover was still the original one. I changed it out for a new one just to be sure that wasn't the problem. Changed it for an Elring cover and made no difference. I've removed all inlet pipes and they all seem to be fine, no cracks or excessive oil in there. The car runs fine and had a slightly lumpy idle, otherwise nothing wrong with it. When erasing the code (101F01) it's back almost instantly after restarting the car. I did the EVAP relearn a few times and also did not improve anything. I have access to BMW ISTA. Can anyone suggest what to check next? |
