I recognise that car from somewhere........ As other forum washy she's a real beaut.

Must admit the 3 door version is better looking but would be no good for me with the toddler.

Congrats again. Great day for giving it a nice clean.

Love the idea of this car.
Saw one on the street last week (same color) and thought it looked great.
Congrats and enjoy!

Thanks for the replies. I am really enjoying the car and am finding I am making excuses just to get out of the house and drive.
As promised some interior shots.

Q: Are your Michelin's RFT (RDC) or regular tires? I understand that these M135i's do not get RFT tires. ?
They are normal tyres, which is a good thing I think.

Love it. I wish we could get this or the 5dr here. I saw a five door when I was in Garching at BMW Individual

Thanks again for all of the positve comments. Loving the car, but am wondering if I should have gone for a manual. The 8 speed auto is really good, but missing the 'hands on experience' that my JCW MINI was.

Wink

Well at least they save us the trouble of choosing here in Hong Kong, only automatic 5 door version available! Only 4 options to choose from and the color

Waiting for mine in october, alpine white, sun roof, black leather seats, black interior...

I'd like to add the M performance interior trims, any thought about that? Does it look good?

No the manual is for "dinosaurs" and nearly exstingiushed the auto gearbox is very good. Have no regrets on the matter

If they offered DCT, I would have gone for it. I tried the 8 speed box on the 328 and decided to order mine in manual. I hope I would not regret it as hong kong does have lots of traffic jams

Washy

TRY this
Select 'Sport' mode on the mode select button, then push the selector over into the manual position. This locks in the lower 6 gears and then use the paddles.

Feel much better this morning. Had a play with the paddles and am coming round to the fact that this may just be the best of both worlds, paddles for fun anda nice auto for those time when the traffic doesnt allow serious playtime...

So, even being a bit disappointed with the 8-speed auto at the beginning, are you starting to like it? I was not sure about it either, but almost everyone says it is fantastic.
