Option for ventilation

Hi All,

In my F20, I can't seem to enable the top-vent arrow on the passenger side ( the display with the small arrows, one to top, one to side and one down ).

Is that normal ? It seems strange to me !

Best regards,
Martin Kik

There is a small wheel for manual opening and closing on each vent, right next to the vent.

That's what you have. The options available seem listed in the manual (page 119).

I have the same setup as in the video, but after trying to use the manual settings the first few weeks, I found the auto feature was better at this than I was. But I still use the small manual wheels by the vents to control the air flow.

I do however see in the video that the small "up"-arrow on the passenger side is missing, like reported.

That's what they must have meant by introducing that (intended usage).

This is what I meant by suggesting the video link: to illustrate the manual claiming "only on the driver's side".

I noticed the same thing after picking up my F20. On my wife's X1 the up arrow works on both sides.

I think the up arrow is for the windshield so it makes sense there's only one control.

Wow, thanks for all the replies ! It's perfectly normal, so I'll stop wondering about it now...

Thanks,
Martin
