Cleaning exhaust and door interior - 125i M Sport

Hi guys,

Just wanted to quickly get some advice on cleaning my exhaust and door interiors. I'm afraid of using the wrong product and ruining the car so wanted to get it right the first time.

I have the following marks on my door due to gf's makeup. They can also be seen throughout the car...

I haven't used any product on my exhausts, and am not quite sure what material they are (125 M sport). I heard that using the wrong product can damage them, could you recommend what I should use?

Could you please recommend me any products I can use to deal with these? I am in Brisbane, Australia in case someone knows products I can get here.

Thanks guys!

PS. on a completely unrelated note, does anyone know if I can upgrade my sound system to the HK one? Bought the car without it and after hearing the amazing things about the audio system tempted to buy it.

Goodness, what does she do in the car to make that mess?

I use water and a microfibre cloth over the exhausts and alloys on my car every couple of weeks.

Is your GF a clown?

Should take a look at Carpro PERL

http://www.autogeekonline.net/forum/...rpro-perl.html

It cleans most things and has the added benefit of protecting things.

I have found that leather wipes work well on cleaning the interior materials.
Freedom furniture's leather kit works really well on my leather seats
You can also use a microfiber cloth with some water and a little wool wash.
A spray of Supercheap's wheel cleaner works well on the exhaust tips.
If the soot is baked on, then use a little cutting polish on a cloth to gentle remove it.
This will also polish the tips.
Perhaps your Girlfriend could help you by using a little less makeup

I use Gtechniq M1 on the exhausts on the same car. Works fine.

Thanks a lot for the suggestions guys, this is great! I'll take a look at super cheap and waxit to get those products and spend a few hours cleaning the car.
And might purchase a pair of gloves for the girlfriend for next time
