Just picked up a bmw 116i sport 62 plate from dealership, it says it has bmw live however whenever I try activing it, it attempts to transfer data from my phone and then it fails and says “ current mobile communication network is not supported by bmw live”

Then when I try do a software update it says update is unsuccessful what do I do?

edit: The car also came with extended bluetooth however it also says bluetooth unavailable but I can use my phone on the car?
