I really enjoyed Glass, has a nice little twist in the storyline.

Roll on the Marvel films due out in the coming months - can’t wait!

Garage List
I watched Hunter Killer this week. Pretty good modern Cold War style movie. Good CGI and Atmos soundtrack. There were a couple nits, one distracting and almost comedic but I don’t want to add any spoilers. I like Common but he was out of his depth playing a 2 star admiral. Too young and had more of the demeanor of an an enlisted person. He needed better coaching.

Watched “The Foreigner” last night with Jackie Chan/Pierce Brosnan. Turned out to be pretty darn good.

If Jackie Chan is still doing all his own stuff, it was impressive for the 64yo!

Watched it Saturday. The movie itself was better than the ending. I totally get the premise and the ending just expected more I suppose. I'll leave it at that as not to spoil it for anyone else.

Saw "Vice" this weekend and well worth it for the total transformation of a great actor to play the role and his uncanny resemblance and in voice to Dick Cheney. Well worth viewing.

Gangster Number 1: Malcolm McDowell relives his rise to London gangster power as Paul Bettany in a long sixties flashback. Stylised, violent, well acted by all concerned as his psychopathic rise to power and ultimate empty success is charted to the modern day. McDowell and Bettany are both great on screen. It is incredibly sweary, and I don't think I've ever seen anything that uses the C-word as much as this film does.

Watched “First Man” yesterday and agree it is decent, but long. Between it and Apollo 13, much preferred Apollo 13 as I found it more engaging/exciting.

I *ALMOST* asked the wife to go see "The Kid who would be King" with me Saturday night.

Luckily, dinner ran past our bedtime. Might go solo tonight while she is at bingo

Watched The Girl in the Spider Web this weekend. Very enjoyable but I've been a big fan of this series since the Dragon Tattoo.

Can You Ever Forgive Me? (2019) - 6/10

A straightforward story of an author who forges letters of other writers.
There isn’t much to say about it really – it tells its story well and has great acting from the cast, but it’s not particularly funny, emotional, or dramatic.
