It's no less propaganda than the ideas it protests. The truth is probably somewhere in the middle. The problem is the false dichotomy that inconsistencies make it a complete falsehood.

Are we influencing climate change to the point where the world will end in the near future and the point of no return is today? Probably not. Is anthropomorphic climate change a complete lie to make people rich? Lol, no. There is most probably some truth to anthropomorphic climate change and we could benefit from reducing our effect on it. People will get rich taking advantage of this movement, but they aren't making it up, they are taking advantage of a situation.

Fact : EV batteries are a huge financial liability, and it will impact a lot of people as we adopt this technology. It will render a lot of cars disposable that would have otherwise been repaired.

Here is an article stating it cost $40k+ in 2012 to replace a Tesla battery.

It's only $26k now according to this thread. As expensive as it is, it's still cheaper than it used to be.
