Michelin PS 4 or PS 5 ?

Coming up to swagging out the original Pilots on my 2019 M140i

Had seen PS4 recommended - so, searching for Prices & reviews I see there is a PS5 now ...

Anyone got more details - just an evolution or a different spec to the PS4 ?

Many thanks ....

Read the reviews on tyrereviews.com as Continental Sport Contact 7 are highly rated. PS5 not yet reviewed.

Had PS4 all around on my 140 and now have PS5 on the rears as my old PS4 were shot. They feel as if they perform just as good, especially in the wet they are pretty amazing.

On the dry they perform well too for spirited driving just that they tend to feel a bit softer faster when heating up as opposed to the super sports or PS4S who tend to take abuse just a little bit longer. Either way you can't go wrong with PS4/5. If you need to get a set all round just get 4 PS5's. Best bang for the buck.

Incidentally - on the original PSS OEMs did you ever experience the front tyres thumping on full lock in cold weather - allegedly caused by sidewall 'folding over' ??

Or the same on the PS4s fronts ?

Yep, normal (well, probably not, but you get me) on M140i with the oem delivered PSS.

Problem solves itself with ps4 (and probably ps5 too although I have those on the rear right now).
