Back to Bimmer - question about iDrive

So, having been a traitor to BMW's evil cousin MINI (F56) for a few years, I am deciding to return to BMW with my next purchase, which will be in a few months, when I can order it as a company lease car. I get free reign on model and option cost up to a monthly budget.

Prior to the F56 I had a pre-LCI F20 116d Sportline with no options, basic BT and no nav. One of the biggest problems was that I had to use a Y-Cable for my iPhone.

In the F56 I opted for full Pro ("XL") navigation with extended BT, and thankfully the normal iPhone cable works great, along with album art on the display and all the goodies I want (even works with Spotify).

Now I am moving back to an F20 (this time an LCI)... my question is what options I would need to get:

* Spotify integration
* Album art via iPhone connection
* iPhone connection using Apple Cable (Not-Y)

My old F20 had none of these. My understanding is that in the UK at least all new F20s come with Business Navigation, so I am hoping that at least some of the above features are now standard!

You might have to order ConnectedDrive Services but I'm not sure.

Assuming you're ok to use Spotify on your iPhone, all you need to order...or ensure your car has as standard equipment...is Extended Bluetooth, which allows Bluetooth streaming from your phone. This way, the connection is wireless, so you don't have to worry about any cables.

Not even that; for all cars from July 2014 onwards, audio streaming is included with the basic BT.
For true Spotify integration you need Apps (6NR) though.

Thanks all! The apps is the option I was thinking of - same as Mini Connected which offers the spotify integration (choose playlists etc right from within the iDrive).
