Steering wheel feedback

Hi all
I am really enjoying my Xdrive 25i but am slightly puzzled.
It has the adaptive steering.

Whilst driving the X1 I had for testing over the two days, I noticed a slight vibrating feedback every now and again (feels like the vibrations you get from your mobile when you set it to vibrate) coming back up through the steering wheel (particular when exiting a corner).
My new X1 is also exhibiting this behavior.

I am assuming that it is something to do with the X-Drive system reacting to perceived traction losses and/or along with the electronics in the Electric steering system is adapting to the surface. It seems to be noticed when exiting a corner where the outer wheels must be turning at slightly different speeds to those on the inside.

I have the adaptive steering on my 125i M Sport and it does not do this.

Does anyone know if this is normal, or do I need to contact the dealer and have it looked at.

Is this the new X1? Sounds like torque steer perhaps? It's primarily a FWD car isn't it?

Garage List
Doesn't sound right; I've had a few cars with AWD (and some with full time 4wd) and none did that.
Only time I get any vibrations is when fully sideways in the Subaru but that's only in a large field!

RTFM! It's the lane guidance thingy...to alert you that you're wandering out of your lane.

I thought about that but figured surely he had put his indicators on at a junction?

I think I found why it does it when there was no line markings. It appears that the system also reacts to cat's-eyes (road reflectors) when there are grouped.
