Dunno about other guys here...but from my experience, I'm cool wining and dining a girl, but no longer ever bestow expensive gifts or buy things they ask for explicitly...especially pricier than normal items.

The last time, I met this one girl visiting from outside the country. I picked her up from her hotel, we had lunch at a Japantown food court and I got some refreshment from her afterward (even have photo proof, haha). On the way to her next hotel location, she asked if we could stop by Saks. So we did. At the makeup counter, she asked if I could buy her some tube of Estée Lauder stuff. It was $50, so I got it. She invited me back to her hotel in the evening but I was unable to meet up.

This type of chick is an extreme. For a while, she'd hit me up for a place to crash and whatever - but I wasn't (for obvious reasons), able to accommodate.

There was one girl I was with. Met her while she worked at a store. We became friendly then we started seeing each other. She was 24 at the time and married with a kid and in a complex financial situation. At one point, seeing how she toiled for minimum wage 12 hours a day, I offered to buy her nicer things and give her some money to help. She turned to me sternly and said, "I don't want anything like that from you. If it's a special occasion, I just want a small to remember you by. But don't ever give me money, or our relationship will never be the same. I'm not with you for money." I bought her a few nice things for special occasions, one or two she gave back because she couldn't explain them to her husband. Once in a while, I'd buy her preloaded metrocards just in case she ran out of fare. We were together for just about a year until her husband found out. I hope that the pink thermos, perfume and trinkets survive. Call me sentimental.

Sorry, Mike, I digress. But you're a big boy. Not sayin your girl is high maintenance or has expensive demands, per se. Just looking out.

Btw, I've had "seen" a stripper or two in the past.

It's good, ran ran the 1/2 mile event last weekend.

It was freaking amazing how hard it pulls, even on pump gas and street tires.

I'm getting a race x-pipe to add a little more power soon.

the company that made the kit is about to be put on blast by me though....I have a customer service story from HELL!!
