What the M135i should look like...

If anyone can do a better 15 minute photoshop, please go ahead.

AC Schnitzer, please get to work. I'll have three.

Thanks Wes.

It's an interesting and subtle change. Probably a little vinyl could achieve a similar effect

That's what I've been thinking. They used to make snap on headlight covers for the mk iii golf that notionally turned it into a twin headlight jobbie. Okay, so it still looked naff, but at least they had a go.

In fairness to Wes tho, I think he made the grill wider too, which is not so easy to change. See how the lines of the grill matches up more cleanly?

Has a more Z4 look about it.

Personally speaking I'm not too keen on the kidneys, they remind me of the flared nostrils of a big albino bull....

Prefer the headlights though, I always assumed that one of the designers sneezed when they were drawing the inside of the headlights!!

Wheels are pure sex too

2 things I wish are out for the f20/f21 m135i: 1) 1m front bumper makes the car have a much more aggressive look. 2) quad exhaust in the back. That would be sick

I think the F20 is a good design.. The headlights aren't the real problem.. Its that inside higher light that gives the car a retarded look.. BMW should fix that light by either making both at the same level or at least make the small one close in size to the bigger one. What do you guys think

Original design is better than the render, but it should be improved somehow a little bit

That render is god awful. The headlight shape is too soft and feminine looking and the grill is ridiculously huge.

I think it's a very subtle, excellent improvement to the front end of the F20, especially those with the M Sport kit. It gives just a bit more aggression whole keeping the family line. I'd buy a body kit like that!

If you think a larger grill looks better then you've been spending too much time looking in the Audi catalogue.

People get too hung up on how the 1 series looks in a photo I think, it looks totally different in real life. If you get upset enough about the way it looks then I suggest putting the pictures down and spend some more time looking at the real thing rather than load up photoshop.

I think the only change they need to make to the front lights is to reduce the curve in the lens and set the main light deeper back.
The lens bubbles out to far and this accentuates the light.

I disagree. Sunk in headlights do not look good. I like the design as it is! :-)

front lens bubble
Unfortunate modern design used by most manufacturers now to reduce front impact pedestrian collision.
I just think it looks 'odd' when the array lens protrudes outside the line of the body.
My comment was that if the lens flowed with the body contour, not bulged out from it, the lens would appear more streamlined and better suited to the cars curves.
Sorry if the render I did looks odd at that angle.

I think the the bubble shape of the headlights follow the shape of the car in a good (and aerodynamic) way.

This looks better than factory. Not feeling the OT though - not a fan of AC's work on this occasion.

It was only the light cluster I was referring to
I also prefer the M Sport front

I just have to add
I quite like the existing front light array design on the M Sport
Just did this as a 'I wonder what it would look like if'

Personally the 'fangs' either side of the central air intake just look a little goofy.

I think Prior Design have a better take on the front with their PD-M1 effort for the F30
