95 RON
Hi all,
I think I'm gonna be ordering a M135i here in Thailand this week but I just wanted to be sure about the minimum octane that this car requires to run at full capability. I'm kinda worried because all the Audi S and RS lines and the Volkswagen R here are running way below their specs on dyno due to the gasoline here which is rated 95 RON. Would that be a problem for the M135i? I'd really appreciate it if anyone in the knows can chip in on this issue. Thanks, |

Dear toddbbot,
I am assuming you called or are sure you are adding in the specified RON95 as that in the international standard. I wasn't so sure, so I called. I am not sure the experience you have with other cars, but based on the May issue of Performance BMW Magazine the dyno pulled 341 hp (<-- memory ) out of stock M135i. I am sure the gasoline supplier in your region should provide something similar in fuel quality as RON 95. |
