Yes - that one was 14 years old - so past due. And when I found it seeping like that in a place that is not occupied often - you could imagine how that could have went........It was not a pleasant weekend chore as it was.

I redneck reengineered the "water in the electrical box" issue though, so I hope it won't happen again!

Exotic. Can you tell us why you chose that over say a Japanese or German?

Finally got around to buying a pressure washer. Decided to get an electric powered one for medium duty work (2000 PSI) around the house which is enough. I was surprised to see this Hasqvarna branded one at Costco for just $190. I used it to pressure wash my driveway and it worked great. I also discovered it's a rebranded Briggs & Stratton unit but I think they have a decent reputation. Only thing I don't like about it is the flimsy high pressure hose it came with so I ordered an aftermarket one which is way better. This PW seems to be a rock solid unit and built robust. Nice peace of mind knowing I got it from Costco should anything go wrong.

I'll finally be able to wash my cars too but I need to invest in a couple more tools such as a foam cannon to work with the pressure washer. Tons of good and cheap options available which is great.

Cool. I could use a new PW. Mine doesn't cut off when it hits a certain pressure, probably due to a leak somewhere. I'll have to look for the same one you got next time I hit Costco.

Great, pick one up if you can find one at your local Costco. I was pleasantly surprised at how well it worked on my driveway. Driveways are typically supposed to require higher PSI units but that definitely wasn't the case. Like I said though, if you do get one, you'll want to get a better hose for it. For this Husqvarna(Briggs & Stratton) model, you'll likely need to get an M22 15mm female thread to M22 14mm male fitting to accommodate one end of the pressure washer hose that connects to the PW unit. For some reason this brand uses a slightly different size for the high pressure hose inlet (not the garden hose water inlet). I think many of them use 15mm. Fortunately I watched a YouTube review on this particular unit and the guy recommended a better hose and the need for the adapter.

I bought an Uberflex 25' hose which is the same length as the OEM one. I kind've wish I got a 50' hose instead just to have more reach.

FYI: (adapter)

Can't wait to buy some car wash goodies to put this thing to use.

As a follow-up on my pressure washer purchase the other day, I went ahead and ordered some accessories to wash my car. I'll need to wait for the weather to improve before using it but I've seen reviews and videos and it seems like it'll work really well. Bought some bodywash soap for the car by Chemical Guys. Due to a review I watched on YouTube it was recommended that I replace the stock foam cannon orifice nozzle with a smaller 1.1mm one which I went ahead and ordered. Supposedly this creates a much thicker foam that will stick to the surface of the car better.

Can't believe how inexpensive some of this stuff is on Amazon.

Gotta love the brand name of this foam cannon, lol. It's built solid with brass fittings and comes with an actual gun as well which may work better than the one that comes with the PW I bought. Several nozzles also come with it, pretty cool.

Hell I even bought a new garden hose to replace my old one. I heard good things about the Flexzilla brand and I needed a longer hose(75'). Hope it's worth the $$.

Can't ever have enough bits. And I grabbed these for under $3 on a Lightning Deal.
