The 2er Gran Tourer premieres at Geneva in March and will be here in a few weeks.

Interesting. LCI 1-er, and the 2 Gran Tourer in the same pic.

Just hurry up and release the saloon!

I cannot wait to see the F20 LCI
I have been waiting months before ordering my M135i to see what the LCI looks like. Finally I will be able to make a decision on which to get!

Aren't they both Active or Gran Tourers?

There is a serious difference in height for both cars, so I'm guessing one's the 1-series LCI and the other's some sort of Active/Gran Tourer.

Taillights look seriously different though, compared to the current 1-series.

If the left one is the F20 then thats a really big LCI.

What's the source of the image?

Doesn't the rear seem more sloped than the F20?

If the covered car showing its rear view is the new 1er then they have changed a few things.
I notice that the rear lights now extend over onto the gate and it does appear that either the roof line has been shortened and the side glass changed to create more slope to the rear. This is perhaps to give it that common hatchback look rather that the current 1er sport back (which I like).

I doubt they would make structural changes. If so this would be the first time it happens?

The new X1 should also be around the corner, but this thing seems too small to be that one.

So much for a minor tweak Scott... I am looking forward to the LCI, hoping for an improved interior...

I notice that the rear lights now extend over onto the gate (red circled)
It looks like it may now have a extended shoulder (spoiler) on the rear edge of the hatch above the light line instead of above the glass. (red arrow)
If you look at the top (blue arrow) it appears that there is less overhang than the current 1er.

Lol, that's some serious inside information I hesitated posting this picture (that I've got by email from BMW +/- a week ago) in the F20 forum, finally, looking carefully I thought it couldn't be the F20 LCI considering the important differences of the rear lights with the already published spy photos. The picture below is from a BMW advertising/invitation for the Bruxelles Auto Show starting the 16th, where the two models should be seen in a sort of "private room". So if the OP could at least clarify if it's really the F20 LCI, this should be a little bit more useful that just this image... if not, not quite so I guess... or even on the contrary, especially being posted in this section of the forum... My guess it's that we shall wait and see with our own eyes.

I quote:

"Il existe, sur le stand BMW, un espace à l’abri des regards dans lequel seront dévoilées pour la première fois en Belgique deux nouveautés BMW. Deux innovations qui auront leur place dans le segment des voitures familiales et celui des voitures compactes. Vous aussi, soyez l’un des quelques privilégiés à avoir la chance de les découvrir en réservant votre accès exclusif sur notre stand BMW. "

P.S. New MINI Clubman to be speculative?

Clubman won't be released before 2016 so it's too early I guess.

I'll check with my brother later (MINI salesman) tonight. Also if he has any VIP tickets over

Silhouette looks like F20 to me.

Too short for a 3er.
