There really needs to be an FIA investigation into how redbull gets away with so much more and in collaboration with stewards.

Still an amazing race and Carlos deserved the win!!

10/10 Race.

Sucks to see Max not up there but a few things made up for it:

1) Lec only got 4th, so barely cuts the championship gap
2) Sergio is the best thing to happen to RedBull in a very long time - I did not even expect him to be in the top 5 but he just keeps on delivering
3) Nice to see Sainz get his first win, especially since Ferrari almost tried to fck him

As a Carlos Sainz fan I'm really happy he won his first GP and I hope his bad season will turn now (although he made a drivers error early in the race, so it certainly wasn't perfect).
But it's incomprehensible why they didn't bring in LEC for softs with the safetycar.
What a monumental f#$*ckup from Ferrari...
LEC should have won this race, he could've scored good WDC points here...

In any case I think there are other considerations like Carlos's first win was more priority than more points for Chas to keep the team base solid.

I was glad to see Ferrari respected carlos today though as it was his weekend. In regards to the pit stop they would have had to double stack no? That might have allowed HAM to be between them.

Just incredible. Huge kudos to the designer of the halo and the cars themselves that a driver can walk away from that. It didn't have to survive just being upside down, it had to survive sliding across the track and a flip. Just incredible.

Congrats to Carlos, we have all given him a hard time and he pulled it off today. Kudos to him to telling them off when they wanted to give Charles a 10-car gap on the restart on old tires. What are the Ferrari strategists smoking? Let the car with the fresh softs and unbroken wing though and let Charles be the moving bollard.

Mega drive from Checo, it also shows just how fast the RB is. Not taking way from the drive but that car has the pace advantage that Merc had enjoyed in the previous generation. This team will be tough to beat for the drivers and constructors championship.

And finally nice to see my man Ham dicing it with the leaders. That Merc is fast but only in a tiny setup window. The track surface, tire compound, and track temperate all have to converge for that car to be fast, but when they did with the mediums, he was quick. Merc have some more work to do, but they are getting quicker.

Just read that in the moment when MAX took P1 back from SAINZ , his floor picked up a piece of carbon debris ..

What followed was that the debris was stuck , and the thing scraped through the left side of the floor .
MAX's car was completely out of balance and his car lost +/- 50% downforce .

Horner said after the race : It's a miracle that MAX took P 7 ...
